Use a variety of internet technologies, techniques and tools such as object-oriented languages to create web applications, web page elements, and pertinent back-end data provisioning to the presentation layer. Deliver to user-interface features, databases and business applications. Ensure application security by incorporating security vulnerability elimination as on-going development practice. Communicate with functional or operational area managers and other specialists to design web applications and web pages that are consistent with agreed specifications. Maintain website technical documentation to assist with website maintenance and upgrades. Analyze, investigate and solve technical problems associated with web pages and web applications.
